• A Set of 10 Law Books -In the process of working with women in distress Swadhar IDWC realized that much of the distress in the lives of women arises due to ignorance and illiteracy about their legal rights as women and as citizens. Swadhar IDWC has taken up a commitment to make the vulnerable and deprived women legally literate and has published 10 Law Books in simple language with bold lettering and self-explanatory pictures so that they can be used and followed by semi-literate women. These books are extremely simple, interesting and stimulating. The sets of these books are available in Marathi.

     This set of books cover topics like: Rights of Working Women, Workers' Right to Compensation, Child Labour, Contract Labour Act, Removal of Untouchability Act, Rights of Inter-State Migrant Workmen, Bonded Labour, Protection of Civil Rights, The Hindu Marriage Act, Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, Hindu, Muslim and Christian Marriage Laws and Right to Property, Legislations pertaining to Dowry, Kidnapping and Abduction and a book on The Police and Your Rights.

• Akashchi Goshta - a book published as an outcome of working with children with HIV/AIDS

• Gaaoo ya Gani - a book of Marathi songs for spreading awareness among women


 Recent Publications

• My Personal Safety - an original book on child sexual abuse by TULIR, a Chennai-based organization, translated into Marathi by Swadhar ,IDWC

• Children and AIDS - a book based on the proceedings of the State Level Consultation on HIV/AIDS organized by Swadhar in 2007
