Indradhanu, a Swadhar IDWC initiative supported by Wipro Cares was initiated in October 2007.
Indradhanu is a Community Centre in Shivrai Nagar slum in Bibwewadi. This is a project which reflects
the successful implementation of Swadhar IDWC’s educational programme which is expanded to reach out
to the entire community and is replicated in the form of a Community Centre.
At Indradhanu the NFE class,
the Library, the Abhyasika, and Phulora are conducted under the same roof. Health Camps,
counseling,
parents meetings are also an integral part of the project. The volunteers from Wipro have been active participants
in this project especially for beautifying the place and preparation of the library books for issue. |
