The purpose of Family Counselling is to enable women in distress, due to marital discord or abuse, to become aware of their situation and about the alternatives available to them so that they can lead a well-functioning and self-reliant life with self respect and dignity. Swadhar, IDWC also provides legal assistance to women and offers protection, support and shelter, if needed.
