On 14th March 2015, 1st death anniversary of Meenakshitai, a book “Samarpita” was released in her memory. This book is a compilation of memories written by her colleagues, co-workers, friends, relatives and students.
On 14th March 2016 a lecture by Mr. Girish Kulkarni of
Snehalaya was organized. He narrated his journey in the field
of social work and formation and work of Snehalaya,
Ahmednagar.
Swadhar also organized a get - together
of social organizations in Pune working for women and children
On 30th January 2017 Annual Gathering of all Swadhar projects took place at Niawra Sabhagriha. A “Ms. Swadhar” competition was organized and the winners got prizes. An essay competition was also announced in advance and the winners were declared and felicitated on that day.
A set of Law Books comprising of laws pertaining to women was released by Swadhar on 19th March 2017 in a program arranged to commemorate 3rd death anniversary of Meenakshitai. Law Books published by MARG, New Delhi, in Hindi are translated into Marathi by Swadhar. This is a second edition with addition of three laws.
Mr. Russi Lala who was associated with Tata Group and JRD Tata donated the sum of over Rs. 15 lakhs through his will. This sum has been given to Swadhar for helping women in distress. A special program was organized in his memory to salute his generosity and to express gratitude for.
